Tasmania Football Club is excited to announce Georgia Walker as our inaugural VFLW Coach.

Georgia was a talented junior player who captained Vic Country and was rewarded with All Australian Selection. Georgia played VFLW with Seaford before moving to St Kilda where she captained the VFLW team. Georgia was also a member of Collingwood's inaugural AFLW team.

Georgia started coaching at a young age following an early retirement as a player due to injury, serving as the St Kilda NGA Coach before joining the VFLW program as a line Coach. During this time Georgia also completed her Bachelor degree in secondary education, as well a Diploma in counselling.

After a short return to playing, Georgia joined the GWS AFLW program where, over the past four years, she's worked as an Assistant/Line Coach, the Head of Development and Head of Academy at different stages. During her time with GWS, Georgia has also worked as a line Coach with the Allies program on multiple occasions.

“The role of VFLW Coach is a key appointment for our Club as we enter the VFLW for the first time. Georgia will be a great addition to our team, her experience and qualifications coupled with her enthusiasm to be a part of the Devils journey is really exciting for our Club.”
