Tasmania Football Club is proud to announce its 2026 VFL squad.

The refinement of the squad is the result of a comprehensive recruitment process that has involved several steps and opportunities for athletes to train and perform at their best for final selection.

Tasmania Football Club Head of Football Operations Aaron Pidgeon welcomed the announcement of the squad. “We would like to thank and acknowledge all the athletes and off-field staff that have been part of the process to date. To get to the position of a refined squad in the short time that we have been operating has involved significant effort and commitment from all involved.”

“It is now only a matter of months until our VFL and VFLW teams commence playing. The establishment and acceleration of our program has already taught us a lot and we are looking forward to continuing that growth as we move into 2026.”

Tasmania Football Club VFL Head Coach Jeromey Webberley celebrated the announcement of the squad. “We have been happy with the quality and commitment of all the athletes that have put themselves forward to be a part of Tasmania Football Club’s inaugural VFL squad. The process of refining the squad has been competitive which is a credit to all involved.”

“We are looking forward to resuming training after a short break over Christmas and cannot wait to run out for the start of the season in the coming months.”

The VFLW squad for 2026 will be announced in early 2026.
