A host of VFL-listed Devils will return to local football across the state this weekend, strengthening clubs in both the south and north of Tasmania.
In the SFL, Lauderdale will welcome back a number of key Devils, headlined by captain Robbie Fox, who is set to pull on the Bombers jumper for the first time on Saturday afternoon.
The 33-year-old will be joined by Sam Siggins and Caleb Mitchell, while fellow VFL-listed talent Yor Nyanjok will also line up as he looks to continue his impressive start to the year.
Lauderdale face a strong Glenorchy outfit, who themselves will feature a host of Devils talent.
Theo Ives and Nelson Beikoff-Smart are all set to play, while Harry Bayles is expected to make his return after an injury-interrupted start to the campaign.
There will also be a notable return at North Hobart, with vice captain Jye Menzie set to play his first game back at the club in several years.
He’ll be joined by Tyler McGuinness, Lachlan Hay, Jack Miller and Rory Wright, giving the Demons a significant boost as they look to make an early-season statement.
Clarence will field one of the strongest Devils contingents of the round when they take the field, with seven listed players named.
Max Mapley, Daniel Cooney, Maddox Iverach, Harry Elmer, Jack Callinan, Baxter Norton and Oscar Paprotny will all represent the Roos this weekend.
Further north, Devils players will also be spread across the state leagues.
Brandon Leary is set to feature for North Launceston, while Bailey Boag (Burnie), Archie Wilkinson (Launceston) and Oliver Kubank (Ulverstone) will also line up for their respective clubs.
Charlie Meadows, Will Splann and Darcy Gardner will again feature for Brighton.
