Tasmania’s VFL/W High Performance Manager Ross Brosnan has provided an injury update on several key Devils ahead of Sunday’s clash with Sandringham at Wilson Storage Trevor Barker Beach Oval.

Max Geappen

Max is making strong progress following a patellar dislocation and subsequent surgery sustained at local level. He has integrated into full football training and will be a test for this weekend.

Brad Cox-Goodyer

Brad sustained a Grade 2 AC joint sprain during our win over North Melbourne at North Hobart Oval. He was able to play out the game but has entered a rehabilitation period to strengthen the area. He is expected to return to play in 2-3 weeks, depending on his progress.

Max Roney

Max sustained a quad injury while training at local level. He has progressed well through his return-to-run program and is now re-entering full training. He is expected to return to play in 2-3 weeks.

Harry Brereton

Harry is recovering strongly from the shoulder dislocation he sustained while training at local level. He has progressed through speed, conditioning and strength work, and has begun integrating into full team training. He is expected to return in 2-3 weeks.

Tyler McGinniss

Tyler sustained a plantar plate tear at local level and has since undergone surgery. He will continue building lower-body conditioning and general strength while he remains in a boot for the next week. His return timeline remains TBC.
