The Devils have made two changes ahead of Saturday’s blockbuster ANZAC Day clash with Carlton at Ninja Stadium.

Geordie Payne returns from a calf complaint for the first time since the club’s historic season opener against Coburg at North Hobart Oval, while Max Roney has been cleared to play after recovering from a shoulder injury sustained at training prior to the win over Frankston. 

As confirmed on Thursday afternoon, Jaxon Artemis (hamstring) and Jed Hagan (ribs) have also been declared fit after progressing well through training this week. 

Tyler McGuinness will miss Saturday’s encounter after sustaining a foot injury at local level last weekend, while Daniel Cooney has been omitted. 

Gates will open from 12:00pm at the Western Gate (near Hurricane Cafe), with SFL men’s and women’s matches serving as curtain-raisers to the VFL clash. Northern and Southern Gates will open at 5:35pm.
