Tasmania’s VFL/W High Performance Manager Ross Brosnan has provided an injury update on Jye Menzie ahead of Sunday’s encounter with Sandringham at UTAS Stadium.

Jye Menzie

Jye presented with anterior hip awareness after a local club match prior to our clash with Carlton. He performed well on Saturday night but will be further assessed this week ahead of our trip to Launceston.

Rylee McHenry

Rylee is making a strong recovery from the syndesmosis injury he sustained during our match simulation in March. He has now returned to full training and is expected to return in 2–3 weeks.

Baker Smith

Baker is making good progress from his zygoma fracture picked up at training earlier this year. He has ramped up his running loads and strength work over recent weeks and is expected to return in 3-4 weeks.

Max Geappen

Max sustained a knee injury at local level two weeks ago and is expected to return in 4 weeks.

Harry Brereton

Harry dislocated his shoulder while training at local level and is progressing well through his running reload and strength work. He is expected to return in 8-10 weeks.

Josh Wolfe

Josh sustained an oblique injury at local level two weeks ago, and his return timeline is currently TBC upon specialist review.

Tyler McGuinness

Tyler sustained a foot injury at local level two weeks ago, and his return timeline is currently TBC.
