The Devils will unleash three fresh faces against Port Melbourne in the VFLW on Sunday morning, with Ellie Hall, Taia Lette and Emilie Saward all set to play their first game for Tasmania.

From Narrandera in the New South Wales Riverina, Hall enjoyed a strong and consistent over-age year for Murray Bushrangers and GWS Giants Academy in 2025.

The 19-year-old averaged 28.5 disposals, 4.7 marks, 8.1 tackles, 4.2 clearances, 5.3 inside 50s and 2.2 rebound 50s, while still booting five goals from her 15 outings in the Coates Talent League Girls.

Having relocated to Tasmania earlier this year, Hall will run out alongside her former Allies teammate Taia Lette this weekend.

Lette, who grew up on a cattle farm in Scottsdale, played 12 games in the Talent League for Tasmania last season.

The 20-year-old, who has previously represented Tasmania in high jump, is an outstanding athlete who possesses great speed and power.

Tasmania's third debutant for Sunday’s match hails from the tiny farming community of South Riana.

Emilie Saward has been a dominant force in the NWFL women’s competition in recent seasons and features for the Tasmanian women’s side five times in 2025.

The midfielder is a premiership captain with Penguin, having been named as the best on ground in the win over Wynyard in 2024.

Saward also has the capacity to be a damaging forward and kicked 25 goals across 12 games for Penguin last season.

Sunday’s match against Port Melbourne will be broadcast live on AFL.com.au and Kayo from 10:30am.
