The Devils will unleash three fresh faces against Port Melbourne on Sunday afternoon, with Will Splann, Maddox Iverach and Nelson Beikoff-Smart all set to play their first game for Tasmania.

Splann, a versatile key position player capable of playing at either end of the ground, returned home to Tasmania earlier this year after spending three seasons with the Central Districts and South Adelaide in the SANFL.

The North Hobart and Brighton product was informed of his selection on Wednesday night alongside Gold Coast Academy graduates Maddox Iverach and Nelson Beikoff-Smart.

Beikoff-Smart, a clean and skilful half-back, has already proven his credentials at VFL level having played 26 games for the Suns since debuting in 2024.

Having relocated to Tasmania earlier this year, the 20-year-old will run out alongside his close friend and housemate, Maddox Iverach.

VFL selection is a deserved reward for Iverach, who has impressed for Clarence in the SFL this season.

Renowned for his strong marking ability and ferocious tackling pressure, the 19-year-old has previously played senior football for Broadbeach, as well as representing the Suns Academy in the Coates Talent League.

Zach Adams will make his highly anticipated return to the VFL after recovering from the popliteus muscle injury he sustained against Carlton last month.

The 24-year-old was awarded the inaugural Cameron Baird Medal as the Devils’ best performer against the Blues, collecting 24 disposals, 10 marks and a goal.

Sam Siggins (managed), Max Mapley (AFL), Daniel Cooney and Darcy Gardner will all miss Sunday’s encounter at ETU Stadium.

Sunday’s match against Port Melbourne will be broadcast live on AFL.com.au and Kayo from 1:00pm.
