The Tasmanian Devils have finalised their inaugural VFLW squad ahead of the 2026 season.
A host of former AFLW players headline the squad, with Meghan Gaffney, Georgia Clark, Ella Maurer and Sarah Skinner all bringing AFLW experience to the program, having competed at the highest level.
A strong group of local talent from across the island also features in the 38-player squad.
Devils Head of Football Operations, Aaron Pidgeon, welcomed the announcement of the final squad.
“We’d like to thank and recognise all the athletes and off-field staff who have played a role in getting us to this point,” Pidgeon said.
“We believe the squad we’ve built is one capable of success moving forward, and we’re confident it has the talent, character and cohesion needed to continue building a really strong program.”
As she prepares for her inaugural campaign, Devils VFLW Head Coach Georgia Walker echoed Pidgeon’s sentiment.
“We’re really excited to have our inaugural squad finalised,” Walker said.
“It’s been a massive few months of commitment from our summer squad, so to be here now is very special.
“This group has been one of the hardest working and competitive groups I’ve coached, and I seriously believe we are building something special.”
