Tasmania’s VFL/W High Performance Manager Ross Brosnan has provided an injury update on several key Devils ahead of Saturday’s clash with North Melbourne at North Hobart Oval.
Josh Wolfe
Josh continues to progress well from the abdominal wall injury he sustained at local level. He has rebuilt his aerobic running capacity and will now reintegrate into non-contact training. He is expected to return in 3 weeks.
Max Geappen
Max is making strong progress following a patellar dislocation and subsequent surgery sustained at local level. He has returned to mid-late stage running and conditioning and will now integrate into football training. He is projected to return to play in 2-3 weeks.
Max Roney
Max sustained a quad injury training at local level. He is progressing well through his return-to-run program and is expected to return in 3–5 weeks.
Harry Brereton
Harry is recovering strongly from the shoulder dislocation he sustained training at local level. He is progressing through speed, conditioning and strength work, and has begun integrating into non-contact team training. He is expected to return in 6-7 weeks.
Tyler McGinniss
Tyler sustained a plantar plate tear at local level and has since undergone surgery. He will continue building lower-body conditioning and general strength while he remains in a boot for the next four weeks. His return timeline remains TBC.
