VFL/W High Performance Manager Ross Brosnan has provided an update on Geordie Payne and Zach Adams ahead of ahead of Saturday’s clash with Werribee at North Hobart Oval.

Geordie Payne

Geordie sustained hip joint irritation following a twisting tackle during the win over Sydney. He played out the game and will be a test for this weekend, pending Wednesday’s training session.

Zach Adams

Zach sustained a potential finger fracture and will undergo further assessment this week. He is a test for this weekend.

Caleb Mitchell

Caleb sustained an ankle injury after his ankle became trapped underneath another player during the third quarter of the Gold Coast match. He is progressing through the early stages of rehabilitation running and is expected to return in 2–3 weeks.

Max Roney

Max sustained a quad tendon injury during the warm-up ahead of the Gold Coast match while kicking a ball. He has recommenced his rehabilitation program and is expected to miss 7–11 weeks.

Tyler McGinniss

Tyler sustained a plantar plate tear at local level and has since undergone surgery. He has now come out of the boot, continues to progress his lower-body conditioning and strength, and has commenced his return-to-run program. His return timeline remains TBC.

Sam Siggins

Sam sustained a hamstring injury during the second quarter of his local club match for Lauderdale. He is in the early stages of his management plan, with his return timeline TBC.
