Tasmania has recalled small forward Daniel Cooney for Saturday’s do-or-die Semi Final clash against Essendon at North Hobart Oval.

Cooney returns to play in his first VFL final after impressive form with Clarence in the SFL.

The 19-year-old has featured five times at VFL level this season, averaging 11.2 disposals and three tackles while also hitting the scoreboard with seven goals.

Nathaniel Sulzberger has been omitted.

This is a ticketed game with all patrons needing a ticket to enter North Hobart Oval. 

To ensure a smooth and efficient entry process, all ticket holders are encouraged to download their tickets before arriving at the game. Wi-Fi at the venue will be limited, and accessing tickets on arrival may be slower than usual.

With all seating being general admission, we strongly encourage fans to arrive early should they wish to sit in a particular stand or section that is undercover. Gates will be open from 9:00am to ensure fans have ample time to find a seat.
