Jye Menzie, one of the VFL’s most dynamic and damaging midfield-forwards, will remain at the Devils until at least the end of 2027.

Originally from North Hobart, Menzie returned home to Tasmania ahead of the Devils’ inaugural season after kicking 36 goals in 47 AFL games for Essendon.

The versatile forward was a significant contributor during the Devils’ inaugural VFL campaign, kicking 29 goals across 17 appearances, averaging 20.1 disposals and earning selection in the VFL Team of the Year squad.

Tasmania’s first-ever player signing, the 23-year-old becomes the first member of the Devils’ inaugural VFL squad to recommit for 2027.
