Tasmania is well represented in the VFLW Team of the Year squad, with Ava Read and Grace White recognised for their outstanding seasons.
The Devils pair have been rewarded for their impressive campaigns ahead of the 2026 VFL and VFLW Awards.
Read was a consistent presence in Tasmania’s forward line throughout the club’s inaugural VFLW season, featuring in all 14 matches and leading the Devils’ goalkicking with 21 goals.
The 20-year-old averaged 11.4 disposals, 3.4 score involvements and 1.5 goals per game during an excellent individual campaign.
White also played all 14 matches and finished second in the Devils’ goalkicking with 15 majors.
The North Hobart product averaged 11.9 disposals, 4.6 score involvements and 1.1 goals per game, establishing herself as an important part of Tasmania’s attacking mix.
The final VFLW Team of the Year will be announced at the 2026 VFL and VFLW Awards on Monday, September 14.
