Inaugural Best and Fairest winner Angelica Clark and VFLW Team of the Year representative Grace White have recommitted to Tasmania for 2027, becoming the first re-signings for Georgia Walker’s VFLW squad.

The pair will return after standout debut campaigns with the Devils, with both also celebrating a premiership together at North Hobart this year in the SFL.

Clark etched her name into club history by claiming Tasmania’s inaugural VFLW Best & Fairest in late September, polling 192 votes to finish ahead of Perri King on 187 and Ava Read on 183.

The 23-year-old immediately looked at home at VFLW level, establishing herself as an important part of the Devils’ midfield.

Averaging 14.6 disposals, 5.3 clearances and 5.9 tackles per game, Clark’s physicality, work rate and ability to break away from congestion made her a significant contributor throughout the season.

White also enjoyed a year to remember, earning selection in the VFLW Team of the Year and receiving Tasmania’s inaugural VFLW Stronger Together Award.

The 21-year-old capped off her season with a dominant performance for North Hobart in the SFL Grand Final, kicking two goals and earning best-on-ground honours as she and Clark helped the Demons claim their fourth flag in five years.

Having shared a historic first season in Devils colours and premiership success with North Hobart, Clark and White will now help shape Tasmania’s next chapter in 2027.
